“Growing up, I was always a bigger kid. I struggled with my emotions, and eating became a natural way to push away my feelings.

During my senior year of high school, I learned about lifting weights and fell in love with moving my body. I also fell in love with the way my body felt when I stuck to a cleaner diet.

I’ve realized that people may forget what you said and what you did, but they’ll never forget the way you make them feel. Training others has become a passion not only for the fitness aspect, but simply because I can change the way a person’s day goes or even the way they feel about themselves entirely.

I’m not here simply to show you how to do a push-up, but to understand who you are and how I can make you feel better over the hour we spend in the gym.”
